Anyway, there have been a couple of changes to my look in the last few days. The first one is I got my eyebrows threaded for the 1st time yesterday!!!!! Even though i'd always been curious about it I thought it would be excruciatingly painful so I kept avoiding it, but yesterday my friend took me to the place she gets hers done and after a lot of childish thraffing about I bit the bullet and got my brows threaded to perfection... If you haven't done it before I highly recommend it! It's such a clean look, just can't be achieved with plucking. Really wasn't very painful either and only cost me £3.
The second one is my hair. I expect a lot of you will be very disappointed and this seems like an odd post to be doing right after the natural hair social one, but I decided to change my hairstyle. Love the long box braids don't get me wrong, sure i'll be back at some point, but I really do get bored of having the same hairstyle so it was time for a change-
Yep, i've weaved myself up Cassie style!!!
I'll always love natural styles and it feels weird to have ditched what has become somewhat of a trademark, but I was really itching for a change and some faster hair growth. Hope no one is too pissed with me but do let me know what ya think please...
Right, i'm off to bed now. Start my second year of uni tomorrow. Will post some more hair pics soon and hopefully i'll have some new clothes as well, fingers crossed.
Don't forget to leave those blog links!!
Toodles to you bitches xx

Do you girl!! Whether you wanna cut it, dye it purple orange blue all at once or just old skool relax it, it dont matter. The inside is what counts and you create art with your body so just be comfortable with who you are.

I think your weave looks dope. I always wish I had one when Beyonce sings "Pat your weave girl" in "Get me Bodied." Your hair always looks good, Im glad you let us know the hard work you put into it.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looked great before and it looks great now. Don't worry about how other people feel about your hair because it's yours. I know that's a duh statement, but sometimes we forget and find ourselves trying to please others with our style.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I love getting my eyebrows threaded. For me its so much better than getting them waxed or plucking them. So welcome to the threading club lol.

Your hair looks awesome! But being the beauty that you are that's no surprise.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your 2nd year at Uni, and pretty please do tell where you got your brows threaded - they look great btw. I'm currently going through the ugly phase of growing mine out so that I can also get them threaded for the first time and am looking for a recommended London threader.
NB. I don't have a blog...yet

Zizzi, I think you are one of those people that can pull off any look. I love it!

It appears you can never go wrong with your hair styles. It has been 5 months since I graduated uni and I wish I had taken the time to experiment with my hair. I suppose I will have to live vicariously through you for now... IF you don't mind that is.
