You're Trying My Shoes On For A Change, They Look So Good But Fit So Strange...

So Jeffrey Campbell's... If you're an avid reader of fashion blogs and / or are a fashion blogger yourself  then you'll know that they're pretty much the basic shoe staple of the fashion blogging community... In fact you probably own at least one pair yourself.

While i've always admired them on other people i've never really felt the urge to own a pair... That is until now. I dunno why but all of a sudden the shoes i've shunned from my wardrobe for so long (mainly because of their popularity) have become the only shoes I ever seem to think about. Despite the fact that I can't afford them, probably wont be able to walk in them and they'll make me about 6'5''...

I want a pair of black Litas and I want them now!!

... Even though there are millions of styles to choose from, I think if you're only intending to get one pair it's best to invest in the classics and these just seem to go with everything.

What d'you think about Jeffrey Campbell shoes? Love or loathe 'em??

Hope everyone's taking it easy this weekend.
Toodles to you bitches xx

  1. I did not know that Jeffery Campbell existed until I started blogging and noticed them on just about every single blogger. Similar to you, I think my interest in JC and the Litas have a lot of do with constantly seeing them all over the place web. I have to agree with you that the black Litas are fantastic with just about every look I have seen...but that price is a bit much for a pair of shoes.

If you are not crazy about labels you can find similar shoes on ebay or amazon for more than half the price of the real thing.

    Happy hunting.

  2. love the title btw!! i don't own a pair of the litas but i do have a pair of his shoes/make! i brought them a year ago and i never wore them :/ but litas are kind of funky and retro they give off the sport luxe girl kinda look? plus i like high platform thick heels on shoes! :)

but there are some awesome new prints of these litas at sole truck maybe you might be interested?

  3. I've known about Jeffrey Campbell shoes for a long time, and honestly I don't find them attractive. I love a platform shoe, but these are a bit outrageous for my liking, but I've seen them on other people and they look nice.

  4. I can see them looking good on you but I personally don't like them and with the impending summer there's a million other things you'd look great in that you could buy!

  5. I have the classic Black pair and I say go for it. They are comfortable and easy to walk in. I can wear mine all night and just like box braids they make any outfit work. Go for it...

  6. I had a pair of JC's before I even knew they were JCs. They were not the chunky kind, but a leopard print sandal I got a few years ago at Nordstroms. I began seeing the chunky ones on blogs and got a pair of Foxys. Popular doesnt necessarily mean bad, it just means a lot of people like it ya know? Like pop music. I think they are well made shoes and versatile.

  7. I love, love, love them and really want them! I was thinking about buying them when I was in the USA last year but didn't, and in Germany they're like twice as expensive! I think they might be coming into fashion here now too, I already saw some knock-offs in the shops but in my opinion you should either buy the real ones or not buy them at all.. (except if they look really good and are genuine leather maybe, but still, I'm really not into wearing knock-offs.)
also, I have to admit that I don't love them as much as I used to.. maybe because I saw them too often on fashion blogs and lookbook and stuff, I don't know.. they'res still awesome. xx

  8. Hey love! Thanks for the lovely comment :D I use a Pentax *Ist DS

It was sooo cheap! I bought it second hand for £140 which is mint for an SLR and it works perfectly! It's not amazingly sharp in terms of picture quality but that's why i love it!
If you get it you definitely won't regret it :D
