Sorry I haven't been posting this month- my internet at home was out for three weeks and I haven't had the time to upload posts elsewhere. Busy couple of months coming up with uni deadlines and exams, as i'm sure is also the case for many of you, but i'll try not to disappear.

Anyway, back to today. Finally, after 2 years of deliberation, I have a pair of black American Apparel disco pants... Wearing them far too often, but they do make my arse look mighty good!! Pahaha. Plus they go with everything and suck you in pretty nicely as well, have a peep...

... If you are one of the eight women left on earth who don't have a pair of disco pants and would like to buy some, I have only one tip- ORDER DOWN!! Honestly, you must or they'll be too big.

This may be the first time i've ever had a title that's the lyrics to a song I REALLY don't like but it fit so well and black and gold are gonna play such a heavy part in my wardrobe this year that it might even become my Zizzi's Wardrobe theme song.

Spotted these lil black booty shorts in Forever 21 last week and had to snap them up- the material is so stretchy and they're high waisted so I know i'll be wearing them all the time with different jumpers, crop tops etc.

The necklace/belt was left here by my friend the other week, guess now it's no longer going to be a secret that i've been wearing it, haha... Can you believe the only place I went today was Tesco to buy a frozen pizza?!... Need to wear this outfit again somewhere worthy!!...

Life's Too Short To Even Care At All... I'm Losing My Mind, Losing My Mind, Losing Control...

One of my greatest character flaws is impatience. I'm not impatient in every sense, I don't get annoyed easily or anything like that but when it comes to things like: learning new skills, waiting for a delivery to arrive or buying something I feel I need I can be ridiculously impatient- Once my mind is made up- I want things when I want them and that doesn't always work to my advantage...

That is why I still haven't learnt how to use my camera. 

My mind was set on being able to take better photos for my blog and in general, so when my friend offered to sell me his old camera at a reasonable price I emptied what was left in my bank account and bought it.... This was several months ago.

As hasty as i'd been with making the purchase, I was so impatient with learning how to use it that it's basically been sitting on my shelf collecting dust while I use my other (inferior) camera or borrow other people's for 99% of my photographs.

Well today I decided I was finally ready to take a deep breath and tackle it again. The quality difference between the Lumix i'm always using and the Pentax I should be using is like night and day. See for yourself...-

Even though i've obviously messed around with the colour etc, the first pic (and unfortunately the best one of the bunch) was taken with my Lumix...

All the rest were taken with the Pentax...

What a difference!!!

I've always wanted my blog to have big, clear, bright pictures on it, with better detail. More about my clothes, hair and make-up products and less about my stupid, unchanging face lol...

 Maybe with a bit of intense practice I can finally put my impatience aside, stop wanting to throw my camera out the window every time a picture doesn't come out how I wanted it to and make the adjustments here that i've been wanting to make for so long...

I feel my patience increasing slightly just saying that lol

She's A Twentieth Century Girl, With Her Hands On The Wheel, Trying Not To Be Sick Again, Seeing What She Can Borrow...

When I was younger I hated Doc Marten's... Really hated them. While all the other girls in school got to wear their chunky high heels, my mum forced me to wear my sensible, below ankle, black Docs. Comfortable though they were, they were not in any way stylish and did very little to improve the grey pinafore dress I wore as school uniform. My mum's argument that 'little girls should be running around the playground not clomping around in heels' only seemed to make my shoe situation even more tragic...

Fast forward about 12 years and here I am, still unable to walk confidently in heels and all nostalgic for the '90s... Obsessed with baggy denim, shaved heads and chunky English footwear, wishing I could find those old Docs and cripple my toes squeezing them on  now that the '90s is so much cooler than it was in the '90s!!...

I recently scored these excellent Doc specimens from a friend. Luckily they're my size, so no crippling involved. They've really become my default footwear these past few weeks...
