I'll Bring You Flowers In The Pouring Rain, Living Without You Is Driving Me Insane...

So in case anyone was wondering, the 'twist' I mentioned with my latest braids was just that I added a few blonde ones... Very exciting I know. Other than that they are essentially the same. Same length, I put them in in the same way and they're still 1B in the rest of my hair. However this time I have 60 plaits as opposed to the 35 I think I had last time- which, when considering their thickness and that both sides of my head are shaved and a bit at the back, is rather a lot...

Hoochie mama show your nana!!!!!... Swear my butt is shrinking though, very strange!!...

People are still always asking me if my hair is heavy. It's noticeable for the first day or two, then it feels completely normal!!...

So no, I do not have to walk around with my head tilted to the side tryna stop myself from falling over under the weight as people seem to think!!! Hahaha

I don't know how many of you read i-D but it's one of my favourite magazines. They have loads of great editorials and in the Pre-Spring issue I was especially struck by the stunning portraits of Chinese models photographed by the incredible Chen Man.

They've stayed on my mind since I bought the issue last month, might have to buy another one so I can tear a few out to stick up on my wall.

Finally, after years of searching, I have a proper blue, blue lip pencil!!!!

Was messing around trying it on and ended up styling myself up like this... I've loved M.I.A. for years and have had the video for her new single Bad Girls on repeat since it came out- (if you haven't seen it it's at the bottom of the post- watch it!)- think that was my inspo today. 

 I'm liking the look so much I might actually redo this as a better shoot with my photography student friend in the studio next week, but for now you can have a look at these pics I snapped quickly in my bedroom...

Cold, cold, cold, cold!!!!!... I guess I shouldn't really be complaining, the English Winter is usually A LOT colder this time of year. Nevertheless it's still freezing to stand on the roof half naked on a cold, windy London evening!... (Took these yesterday).

Arsema was the photographer again, really thought I was gonna slip off this table and break my neck... Don't try this at home kids!!

So me and Arsema were out looking for a greasy spoon to eat in a few days ago and stumbled across this cafe. Not quite greasy enough for my taste but what can you do??!! 

Well we snapped away as usual, or Arsema snapped whilst I sat looking uncomfortable as the waiter stared at us in fascination. Then we walked home. All very exciting... Witness the magical day here...

Cash, Last I checked I Was Overdraft, Spent More Money Than I Guess I Had... What Do You Do About That??...

Recently i've encountered a problem... A big one at that... I have NO money!!!! lol Furthermore i've made this problem worse through my addiction to spending money I don't have- mainly on make-up... Dior, Chanel, Benefit, Black Up, MAC... I am just in love with make-up. And expensive make-up in pretty packaging especially. As the mighty Valentino once said in a documentary 'I love beauty, it's not my fault' Hahaha, beauty products are bankrupting me...

Of these recent purchases i'd recommend Maybelline's gel eyeliner, Benefit's Erase Paste concealer and of course Illamasque lipstick, of which I now own most of their collection!! Gel eyeliner is so friggin amazing!!... It has the easy application of a kohl eyeliner pencil and the precision and intensity of  liquid eyeliner. What a revelation to my life!!

Definitely time to start seriously searching for a job, ha...
