So me and my mate Lil went down to the launch of
DIRTYloves.com at McQueen in Shoreditch last night... And although I knew that it's a rather sexy brand I wasn't expecting what was in store for us...
After descending the stairs into the dimly lit bar the first thing that caught my eye was a big table of flying saucers
(the sweets with sherbet inside, not the kind people are always claiming to be spotting in Roswell)...
But as we got closer it was what was perched on top of the flying saucers that really grabbed our attention...
Yes, all sorts of naughty treats!!
We oohed and aahed and giggled a bit as we rummaged through the goodies on the tables before moving on to have a little browse through the clothing...
They had a nice range clothes and lingerie...
This was definitely my favourite tee (it says 'Hate' not 'Late' as it looks like with the fabric fold lol)
Want these!!
At £8 I couldn't resist... Actually bought these shorts on the website literally 5 minutes ago!! Ha...
After having a good ole rummage through the samples we spent the rest of the evening munching on tasty cupcakes and sweets and sipping delicious Scarlett Martinis
(didn't really take pics though cos we were too busy munching lol).
Yum!!...
I've been thinking about it a bit since yesterday and the DIRTYloves approach just seems really modern... Naughty without being tacky, kitsch but not cliché. The whole idea of lifestyle brands that merge affordable fashion with events, sex toys, a magazine etc etc, is generally where the fashion industry appears to be headed...
If you're interested you can check out the DIRTYloves website
here.
What d'you think of lifestyle brands? Are they the future??... Definitely seems that way in blog world!!...
New hairstyle reveal tomorrow ;)
Have a fabulous Friday!
Toodles to you bitches xx
